As a PA student, you’ll provide essential clinical services and engage in community education, all while immersing yourself in the English-speaking Belizean culture. Day 1: Sunday
Arrival and Team Meeting
Arrive in Belize (Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport) and meet the team.
Settle into accommodations.
Tour the local hospital and get an overview of the facilities.
Cultural Immersion, Beach Church Service, and Clinical Skills Review
Days 2-5: Monday to Thursday
Community Outreach and Clinical Patient Care
Each day will be dedicated to providing healthcare services in different communities.
Day 6: Friday
Adventure Day
Take a break from clinical work and enjoy an adventure activity. Options might include exploring local natural attractions, such as caves, waterfalls, or wildlife reserves. Maybe even snorkeling in Belize’s stunning coral reefs!
Day 7: Saturday
Reflect on the week’s experiences and celebrate the imPAct made.
Travel home.
