What You’ll Do:

• Provide rural medical care and support
• Educate elementary and middle school children on health practices and preventive care.
• Work alongside local healthcare professionals and learn from their expertise along with hearing their stories
• Improve cultural competency to understand a life beyond borders
• Live in the jungle for a week !

Arrival in Belize City (BZE)
Transfer to your accommodation.
Evening: Group orientation and welcome dinner.


Monday- Wednesday 
Clinical Medical Care
Visit local schools for community education and support the KAGIS program
Small teams will daily break off to support and learn more about women's health, birth, prenatal & postpartum care
Evening: Team debriefs and planning for the next day.

Thursday and Friday 
Community Outreach and education 
Rural Medicine: Pediatric and palliative care home visits 
Community dinner and cultural exchange event.

Saturday
Fun Day in Belize
Morning: Snorkeling to the Belize Barrier Reef or Relax on the topical beaches.
or find adventure zipping through the jungle or hiking into and underground cave
Evening: Farewell dinner and reflection on the week’s experiences.

Sunday
Departure
Morning: Final team meeting and packing.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home
