What You’ll Do:

• Learn about Belizean medical care and support to rural medicine
• Educate communities on health practices and preventive care.
• Teach in local schools
• Support prenatal and postpartum care to improve birth outcomes
• Work alongside local healthcare professionals and learn from their expertise along with hearing their stories
• Improve sustainability for communities 
• Experience the jungle of Belize

Evening: Group orientation and welcome dinner.

Cultural Immersion
Community Church Service
Jungle Hike to and swim in a waterfall ($10)
Dinner and Team building

Monday & Wednesday 
Community and Clinical Care
Students will rotate through various clinical sites 

Tuesday
Classroom education in the community 
Two Schools- one great lesson

Thursday
Sustainable farming and public health project

Friday
Fun Day in Belize - Snorkeling or ziplining ($100)

Departure
Morning: Final team meeting and packing.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home
