Itinerary:
Saturday, September 13th
- Arrival in Belize City (BZE)
- Transfer to your accommodation
- Evening: Group orientation and welcome dinner
Sunday, September 14th
- Cultural Immersion
- Community Church Service
- Community Oral Health - Sparking SmilesÂ
- Hike to and swim in a waterfall (0.5 mile)
- Dinner in the jungleÂ
Monday & Wednesday, September 15th & 17th
- Community and Clinical Care
- Students will rotate through:
- Community Clinics
- Building Project for surgical suiteÂ
- Home Visits
- POCUSÂ
Tuesday & Thursday September 16th and 18thÂ
- Classroom education in the community
- Teach at two schools and host "Sparking Smiles" Floride application eventÂ
- Shop at the Mennonite market and understand sustainable farming practices
Friday, September 19th
- Fun Day in Belize
- Snorkeling, read a book in a hammock or just enjoy your toes in the sand as you marvel at creation
Saturday, September 20th
- Departure
- Morning: Final team meeting and packing
- Transfer to the airport for your flight home
